FUNDS NEEDED FOR:

1.  Continuing teacher and staff education.  Each teacher continues his/her teacher training during the school year and summer so that they are ready and able to meet the children going into the next grade.  This costs approximately $2,500 per annum per teacher.  There are currently 9 staff members who participate in these educational pursuits. 

Underwrite 1 faculty member:  $2,500

Underwrite 2 faculty members:  $5,000

Underwrite 3 faculty members:  $10,000

Underwrite 4 faculty members:  $15,000

Underwrite 9 faculty members:  $22,500

2.  Tuition Scholarships for low-income families:  The School provides many families with scholarships which enables them to give their children a Waldorf edcuation.  As a non-profit school, our ability to provide scholarships is limited.  The following are the amounts needed per child in order to provide additional scholarships to eligible families. 

Kindergarten (5-Day)  $3,000 (10 months of classes)

1st-4th Grades $4,140 (10 months of class)

5th-6th Grades $4,290 (10 months of class)

We currently have two chldren waiting to enter 5-day Kindergarten whose families cannot afford the tuition.
