School of the Suncoast

Rita Lucia graduated from the Waldorf Early Childhood Training at Sunbridge College N.Y. She moved to the School of the Suncoast from Pennsylvania where she and her family volunteered at the Camphill Community for the past 22 years. Rita was born and raised in Germany. She is the Lead Early Childhood teacher. Her interests are in the study of Anthroposophy, Puppetry, Crafts and Gardening.

Kendall Potts is the lead teacher for the Marigold Kindergarten. She has an Early Childhood Education degree from the University of South Florida and has been teaching since 1995. She has 3 years of experience in Kindergarten Education. Kendall has been part of our school since 2001 and served four years as the boards secretary. She has 2 children attending the school, and is an integral part of the festivals at school.

Regina Albaladejo

My name is Regina Albaladejo and I am the assistant at the Rosegarden Kindergarten.

I was born in Germany, in January 1975. My daughter's name is Amal and she is a student at our school. She was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where I lived with my husband for a few years. There I worked at a western compound that catered to a multi ethnically diverse group of children ages 3-6.

My father works for the German Foreign Office, as a child I spent a lot of time overseas and attended several German Schools abroad. After my high school graduation I went to University in Koblenz, Germany where I studied education and English literature.

Due to my husband's career we moved to the US and I have been working at the Waldorf school in Clearwater since summer 2006.

Jana DeLima is the assistant in the Marigold Kindergarten.
